 What
is a Passive House?The term passive house (Passivhaus in German) refers to the rigorous, voluntary, Passivhaus standard for energy efficiency in buildings. It results in ultra-low energy buildings that require little energy for space heating in the winter time and cooling in the summer time. Passive House or build close to Passive-House-Standards will be under law in 2011 in whole Europe. |

am a carpenter and would like very much to do my own flooring on my project, is this possible? Yes of course, we will then issue you with a credit note from your fixed price. |

| Is
there any maintenance on the windows? No, there is absolute no maintenance on the windows because it is triple glazed and the outer shell is alloy! |

| How
long does it take to construct and complete a GPH house turn key? Once your house arrives on your site on 40foot trucks it will be assembled and is water tight in 3 to 4 days, turn key will be 4 months. |

| Do
I have to project manage my own project? Our project coordinator<< will work side by side with you on your project, therefore you will only have to call one number for any queries you may have on your project. |

| Do
you visit our site? Yes if a site visit is required it will commence after your meeting with our manager<< at our office, where you will discuss your project in full detail, giving us your requirments, thoughts and Ideas,(please bring any information regarding your project to make your meeting as productive as possible.) at this appointment you will also see sample of our fantastic wall with cavity, our triple glazed windows with outer shell in alloy, staircases and tiles etc.! |

whom am I signing a contract with

I use my own Architect? Yes of course you can use your own architect. Only bear in mind that the Architect and the Planning Consultant is already included in your standard package, that means you can choose. |

you build a shell (envelope) only? Yes we build a shell only which consists of full completed insulated roof and walls, A fresh air system and staircase, our Architect will provide your plans and Planning Consultant to advise if needed. Starting at €100.--- per sqft inclusive VAT  |

turnkey house, does it include all foundation works, waste water treatment works and site works? Does it include all electrical wiring, plumbing and plaster works? Yes it includes the high insulated foundation slab. It doesn't includes waste water treatment and site works, because some sites are connected to the mains. Yes it include all turn-key electrical wiring and state of the art sockets and switches, also plumbing, tiles, real wooden parquet, all ceramics and plaster and paint works. you come up against many obstacles with the county planning offices with the design of these houses? We work closely with planning consultants and clients to ensure that all our house design requirements are within spec for the planning offices throughout the country before we lodge in the planning application. |
